Drain the boiler at least once a month and then refill it and empty it at least 2 or 3 times.
This should be done once a week for daily use of the machine.
Visit your service centre once every 4 or 5 years to have the boiler professionally cleaned.
If the water is particularly hard and the iron used often, it should be professionally cleaned every 2 or 3 years.

The fabric on the ironing board should be changed once a year to maintain proper breathability.
For frequent use, the fabric should be changed at least every 6 months.
